L-Great point on the functioning of most economies and societies.

You can't have next to nill interest rates and no growth.
Retirees can't survive on the fixed income and the rest of us can't get to retire without a growing economy and stock market.
So if lower rates don't restart the economic engines then other fiscal stimulus is needed which is what W is trying to push through now. Also look for the G7 nations to follow suit. It's not just our problem anymore.

Lim...what I see is a prolonged bear that will just tease the confidence of investors drip by drip. NAZ 800 will finally do it. All at once? Don't know. Probably a slow torture.
