Don, thanks, and i couldn't agree more!
it reminds me of the exchange i had with George Gilder when the Nasdaq boom began to falter: i pointed out to him that the advent of the internet was a very poor reason to bid up share prices, as it mainly benefits consumers and at the same time destroys profit margins.
it has enhanced our standard of living, but has hurt corporate profits.
