Please show me where I 've suggested appeasement.

Are you defining my curiosity about the context of Middle Eastern perceptions of our country as appeasing the terrorists? I call it necessary research.

Were I suggesting (in whole or in part) that we: remove our military presence in Saudi Arabia, lift all sanctions against Iraq, immediately establish a national homeland for the Palestinians, and end our support of Israel . . .in a quid pro quo for Al Quaeda removing us from their Hit List, that, by definition, would be appeasement. I haven't come close to saying anything like that. And won't.

Now you're offering, " financial support, education and hopefully, acceptance of others by anyone who preaches hatred." which sounds suspiciously appeasing. . .even it does reflect a likely outcome.

Perhaps we're just using different dictionaries.
