Cobalt, my comments were not meant to be divisive in any way. In any generalization there are always specific cases that run counter to the overall trend. Of course it was not the same for everyone at every place, but imo treatment of Native Americans cannot be characterized, in the aggregate, as a “positive interaction”. The reason behind my qualification was not to denigrate the US, but to point out that we have a collective responsibility to be cogniscent of the potential danger contained in the anger and hatred that lurks in each and every one of us. The Administration’s response to the present crisis has so far imo been a fine example of how to manage this kind of thing. To be clear, they have my full support.
