GRRRRRR stupid weather maps

Went out for a two day climb yesterday. Got to the top of one mountain and was prepared to drop down and set up camp when this really interesting snowstorm came in. We talked for awhile and desided there was no way it was going to clear up enough on monday to make it safe enough to climb anywhere. [ this was due to the satelite photos I looked at sunday morning } Well today is glorious and from what I can see from my back porch there is no clouds in the direction of the peak either.
Sure called that one wrong.

Take care all

>>But the woods heal - i took out the tall fir right then, slashed everything damaged badly, stuck in a dozen or so new 1-0s within a week, and by '99 you'd never know that happened<<

Marcos, what a mess! Glad you got it cleaned up.

I've been away traveling, and got home Monday night. After all the airport security, it's good to be dealing with "normal" threats again. Tuesday afternoon I was raking my neighbor's front lawn and almost got run down by a young moose dodging thru the trees like a bat out of hell. Then I woke up the next morning and the ground was covered with 8 inches of white powder! <g>
