Any man-made construct will tend to be influenced by the man-made constructs to which its constructors were previously exposed, this would seem logical, at least following our invention of language ... for instance, it has been said that the name of our holiday Easter comes from the name of the babylonian goddess Astarte, and the festival serving a similar purpose, that of celebrating new growth in spring Disclosure - i have read only half a dozen posts here, in my current condition of feeling my agnostic roots being pulled in the direction of a conversion to onionism - theonion.com .... further i believe that we should all - and this includes agnostics and onionistas alike - grab a clue and consider the future of the species ... cheers to all of good will
