Iso, thanks, "pervasively bearish" comment has to be taken into context, since I believe Art hasn't followed our postings for very long or at least very closely.

IMO, being pervasively bearish is the right call and has been the right call and unfortunately will be the right call for a while longer. There isn't anything that says we can't have a big ol' bear market rally, and like you were saying, the companies fundamentals are becoming much more important -- and without positive results, the bear will continue having it's way. IMO, because of the immense size of this bubble, I don't believe the contraction is over yet, see US Business Cycle Expansions and Contractions table for reference:
