Going back to October 2001

...if anything the strength that the Nasdaq showed around 1400 makes 600 all the less likely [....] I argued back in 2000 that the NAS would find a lot of support on the way down and that 1400 would be difficult to break. Not even the bombing of NYC, which wasn't in anybody's mind back then, has changed that.

It took almost a year after 9/11 to break 1400 as predicted but finally in July 2002 Nasdaq broke this resistance level for good. Next support level is 1000, and IMHO there will be yet again a lot of resistance below that...
