Maybe it's, as you suggest, some fishy kind of incomprehension on my part, or maybe it's just that I doubt that, as literal interpretations of the Davis quote would seem to require, SEBL moves up or down after I've taken in a position in it depending upon my feelings about myself "moment by moment," or that my entry signals arose from those feelings, or that I perhaps knew subconsciously that in choosing those signals, etc., I would be granting myself precisely what I "believe[d]" I deserve.

Other than, by way of explanation, to say that I react allergically to any implicitly reversible equation of self-worth and income, I'd be happy to leave things at that, as I'm quite willing to give Davis' work a fairer inspection.
