I doubt that will be the case. The U.S. will make it clear that we will pull out of the area at the earliest possible moment.

China has a strong desire to join the world economy in a significant way. National dominance between China and the U.S. will not be a military battle, it will be economic. China is not yet in a position where they can win this battle.

China doesn't want WW-III, Neither does the U.S., I am not worried about this particular tidbit.
