Some Russians with Mosyn Nagants further down the procession route did not even get to shoot. We made our getaway in a bright red kiddies peddle car. Nobody noticed, but we made the mistake of going by a Barnum operation, they flagged us down and we had to shovel Elephant shit for 3 months or blow our cover. Scribbling away while all this was going down was Hunter S. Thompson. We warned him to keep a lid on it because it was too plausible compared to what he ordinarily wrote and it was too late for him to start establishing any kind of credibility. Instead we sold the story to Jim Garrison, and then changed all the names to our favourite enemies and kept the movie rights for a deal with Oliver Stone. We knew that anyone saying he had a handle on a widespread conspiracy would be the first one not to be believed. EC<:-}
