Terry, as far as I can make out Debka is an Israeli group, but I may be mistaken. They often have stuff which other news sites don't eg their story on the blowing up of the plane over the Black Sea is also worth reading. They show clearly there was a bomb on board. Yes, I, too, find the China connection scarey, that's why I posted it. But it makes sense. China has to do what it can to preserve a "balance of power" in the region and both US and Russia are historic enemies from the cold-war days. Do not deceive yourself into thinking that this conflict is between the good guys and the terrorists or between the rats and the exterminators. That is "cowboy talk". Whether people want to admit it or not the conflict is between the West plus Russia (maybe) and Islam. The bad guys are not bad guys because they like to be bad guys. They are committed to a cause and that cause is fundamentally a religious one. Therefore, even though others in the religion may not, at the moment, be committing terrorist acts, they are extremely sympathetic to the cause and will do whatever they can to further it. In time, as the thing unfolds, we will see what comes out.
