Bill,

re: Bribery etc.

I think you are going off the deep end here.

AMD has a lousy product right now.

The OEMS just dont want to pay a reasonable price for the chips.

As you know they have introduced the pathetic MP's and the laptop chips last quarter.

This should have boosted ASP's or worst case kept them flat.

AMD MUST be shipping parts in $30 range to have their blended ASPs drop 15% or so.

When your competition is selling parts for $150 and you are at $60 there is no cause for complaint.

AMD is lowballing prices to maintain units.

What is there about their ineptitude that you dont understand?

Kash

Bill, if bribery is indeed what you mean, then you ought to back up this allegation with proof, or quit this pointless charade. Accusing a major corporation of illegal activities demands more than the assertions of one Internet forum member spouting off FUD for the purpose of his own gains.

If you did not mean bribery, you ought to chose your words more carefully.

Bill, <That is not so, there is behind the scene coercion and other dirty doggery going on that distort the free market.>

There is also a lot of corruption in American government. Does that mean America should be called "fascist"?

<In Indonesia when bribes are paid it holds back the country, what does it do when Intel pays bribes to get exclusive 'shelf space'?>

You're right. Intel is a "fascist organization" because they buy exclusive shelf space at major retail chains.

Like I said before, it all depends on what your definition of "fascist" is.
