Fischer is a fine one to be talking like that. He has his own terrorist past to deal with. When he was a scruffy young man in the 70s handguns were found in his car that had been stolen from a US Army barracks. He and his band of merry marauders were involved in the 1975 kidnapping of 11 OPEC ministers. He also had ties to Carlos the Jackal.

It's fitting that he is the leader of the German Greens.
