What are we grafted into? Doesn't a graft have to be joined into a main root?

And in your first analogy about adoption, who are the biological or true children? (If we, as Christians, are the step children.)

If Israel is not the chosen people, why would God come in and defeat the armies in that location? Armegeddon. Wouldn't the battle be in a location more populated with Christians?
