Has anybody ever asked you to become one? I am not a Christian but their values produced the greatest nation in the history of the world. Name one that is better. OK, I'm asking. If you knew me, you wouldn't believe I am asking this. But it is a sincere request. Do you believe in forgiveness? Do you know what it's like to be unforgiven? What it's like to be forgiven? Christians believe in forgiveness, and in being forgiven. When you become a Christian, you are forgiven. The pain of being unforgiven vanishes. PS, I am a Christian. Not a church man. I haven't been to church since the Easter Sunrise service out at the Mendenhall Glacier. You should try that sometime. You might become a Christian just on the strength of God's Creation laid out before you like a feast. You would be glad you did.

I'm not denying what you say, I'm not saying America is not great. And I see no difference between Conservative Kids and Liberal kids. I was looking for some proof in religious text, but I see no one has any. "The so-called progressive people" -- Many, if not all important biblical figures are ground breaking and progressive, ie. Abraham, Moses, Jesus...They break away from the past and move to something new and different. Wasn't Jesus a "dirty" Liberal? I suspect, but I can't be sure, democracy came from the Greeks not the bible, freedom for all came out of oppression from the British, the right to worship whatever god you choose came from religious persecution in Europe and not the bible, and the right to assemble was an original idea of the founders of the consitution. Also the right of assembly may have originated from the North American Indians, not the bible.
