"a literal Fiat Money-Free For All - love fest" ...you remembered that one `eh ? I spoke to some well informed law enforcement/security specialists while in Canada... I'm not doom & gloom - end of the world-esque; but we'd better learn to live with an Israeli-esque seige mentality mindset in major metro-area's for a while. What is depressing; is that EVERY single well informed person I've spoke with, or source I've read...all acknowledge that we're being lulled into a sense of unrealistic expectations as to both the risks we face, the inevitable likliehood of incidents that will be equal to, if not greater than the WTC tragedy and the very real risk of an Arab-Nation Holy War with an accompanying irrational act of mass destruction that will become a major chapter in world history... I don't blame the Government for placating the masses; there is no other choice... FWIW, you couldn't pay me enough to live, or work in NYC, DC, Chicago, near Houstons refinery's, LA, Seattle etc... I would literally move...to the hinterlands of middle-America/small town USA suburbia. PS: ...look at the photo of Pres. Bush on page 30 of the Oct 8th issue of Newsweek....that photo says it all; he's aged a decade since Sept 11th.
