Mani,

Those lowlives have turned people misery into hatred and mass criminal
activity that worsens the cause they claim to have.

Most of these terrorists were "turned" at young ages during radical "religous" indoctrination in the thousands of Madrasas within the Islamic world. Bin Laden simply provides them with an outlet.

Islam did have militant themes in its foundation and people like Bin Laden stress these themes to attract their soldiers. I fully believe that WW3 will be a war against those with Islamic faith. I'm just not sure if the other side will be the west or if it will be China.

There is not a Muslim country in the world where there is any tolerence for any other belief. Those with other beliefs living in Muslim countries live under severe oppression and will eventually be stomped out. Russia does not have the ability to stop the Muslim invasion from its south, but recent encroachments into western China may be a big mistake.

Pravin.

Lack of knowledge about our foreign policy has resulted in the support of most racist and inhuman regime (Israel) in a "developed" country. When the world condemned Israel as a "racist" nation, we blindly pulled out of the conference. Sharon is a documented war criminal responsible for slaughter of tens of thousands of Palestinians women and children.

Mani, I think your condemnation of the Israelis may be a little harsh as well as misplaced. I don't disagree that the Israelis can be racist...there has been enough evidence to suggest that the European Jew has a higher status in Israel than the Semitic Jew. However, I think that does not change the fact that the Israelis are making the best of the cards they were dealt...borne, ironically enough, from religious intolerance.

As you probably know, the allies after WW II were confronted with the 'Jewish problem'. The solution was to allow the land that the Zionists inhabited to become their homeland. For a people who had been homeless for over a thousand years, it was the golden opportunity.....I, for one, can not blame them for fiercely defending what is now their's....and I think that's the primary motivating factor, not racism.

If someone is to be blamed at least in part for the current mess, I guess it would have to be the allies of WW II. Its seems that wars often result in bad decisions that end up causing further problems down the road. Case in point, it was the then allies' decision to exact harsh retribution from defeated Germany after WW I war that gave rise to Hitler.

Knowing all this, I do not think helps us with the current mess. It just makes clear that any decisions we make going forward better to be sound ones.

Mani
re: in the support of most racist and inhuman regime
would you like to explain?
Why is that that Israel recognized Palestine right from the start and yet plo's goal was to exterminate Israeleis?

US stopped all air traffic for few days after bombing and then bus service but can you imagine if someone would be constantly trying to blow up something?
I would not argue that there some resentment of palestinians in Israel but in US we had few people with dark skin killed after the bombing just because they looked like arabs.
PLO killed 2 people (palestininas) today while trying to break up a demonstratioin in support of bin Ladin. While no matter how wrong might be the support of bin Ladin it is the right of people to express their opinions as long as it is done peacefully

OFF TOPIC: Will this thread ever get back on topic? There is ANOTHER garbage heap carrying the AMD name for social discourse.
