Just heard about the attacks on Afghanistan. I've listened briefly to two tv stations but
1) bin Laden welcomes the retaliation.
2) Bin Laden wants to topple the governments of Pakistan and Saudia Arabia. He wants to
drive the US out of the middle East because of US support for Israel
3) Two commentators on two tv networks believes the attack on Afghanistan was wrong because
those who were wavering, those who were beginning to think the Taliban were evil may now
support the Taliban, and because of these feeling ANTI-AMERICANISM may increase.
4) A recent poll is US believes indicated that 58% of Americans believe that the US has
given too much support to Israel.

Because of recent poll, you might want to contact your Senators and voice your opinion.

For many, many years I have believed the US has favored Israel at the expense of Palestine, but
it is a feeling only. I am not familiar with the political events that have occurred in that area since
World War II.

TH, until Sept 11th, I couldn't really understand how vigilantes really could take matters into their own hands...Now, I understand. The violence and beyond redemption acts have fixed that understanding into many of our brains. Especially when one considers the number of children who have lost their lives both the planes, AND the WTC buildings, including the hotels and day care centers....Plus the thousands of children that have lost either one or both parents.....

Maybe people in the future should think of this when trying to wish away the murderers crimes as crimes of neglect, or deprivation....or whatever. There is NO reason, NO excuse.....

I did find this.....
