tax cuts
Write Bush if you are mad. These are his idea. Maybe he thinks the terrorists will be waiting by the mailbox when they deliver the rebates. It didn't make sense to me either.

TigerPaw is correct on this one. First tax cut completely bypassed America's "working poor." Proposed second tax cut also will mainly benefit the wealthy. Neither tax cut does much good for our brave men and women in uniform. If America is "actually in a war," as you say, we ought to worry about financing said war first, then revisit the tax cut at a much later date.
