Larry Ellison, plagiarist!!

Larry (ORCL) wrote an article in the WSJ (editorial page) on how digitial i.d.'s and database management would thwart terrorism. With no accreditation or tip 'o the hat to Kodiakbull. Nada. I knew this was an important thread, and I guess this sort of plagiarism should come as no surprise. Well, Larry, if you can't have the idea first, you can always write it well and publish it somewhere else. :^-)

I can't link the article here since my version comes under the boxwoods and printed on paper, but it is worth thinking about.

They're swearing in Ridge. Does anybody else think "Office of Homeland Security" sounds like something out of the Third Reich? Not the idea or the cabinet post, but the NAME? I can never remember referring to the domestic, interior USA as the "homeland" (or the motherland or the fatherland, either). It's just not in our vocabulary.

It should just be the Department of National Security, and then change Condie Rice's Agency to the Executive Security Agency.

Jmho,
