It's the old running is the option of last resort or running is the desired mode of operation. Seems once teams figure that out they contain and kill the running QB's ala Cunningham. Pressure them quick and they will run every time.

You're right, the Packers brought him to camp in 94 as a free agent, then cut him.

Personally, I like the runners better. They last longer and are generally more effective. Young, Elway, Tark, Garcia, Flutie, etc.

BTW, I've concluded that there just must be a dark cloud over Rob Johnson.
