You are correct. These are the words of the "revolutionary": Mat 5:17 (KJV) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Christ's message was the evolution and clarification of God's messages from the Old Testament.

"evolution and clarification of God's messages from the Old Testament" Sorry I see him differently, as a revolutionary speaking out against Temple authority. He did not clarify the Old Testament, because the Word of God is clear. In fact, Jesus's brother James says in his letter(NT), christian's must follow The Law (Torah) to be in keeping with the teachings of Jesus. Jesus spoke against a corrupt temple authority and its view of worship. Also, Jesus and most Jewish people do not view the Old Testament as old, there's the Torah and the Talmud both the living words of God that Jesus wanted others to abide by and not deviate from, as his brother James, who became the leader of the Jerusalem christian community following Jesus's death, chose to live, that is living by The Law. And as far as "vacant liberal minds" in need of "a course on thinking," goes, I find your general closed mindedness the one in need of a bit of refining.
