pam - I feel that my main strength is my ability to act according to : "I will not let them (whoever "them" is) intimidate me."

Read my SI profile. I was not making up that business that relates to what I am talking about right now.

If you trade futures contracts (as I do) (for your own account, NOT "other people's money") -- you HAVE to be right more often than wrong.

And, you also have to endure periods of "I will not let them (whoever "them" is) intimidate me."

Another way of stating this is : I feel I can actually look to the medium run or long run on an investment, whereas a lot of people get hopelessly "rattled" by the short run.

I believe the medium run to long run on QCOM is HUGELY positive (starting with $38 or $40 a share).

I may be wrong, but that is what I believe.

Jon.

pam - and furthermore (to answer some more of your question) -- Yes, I have made major investment mistakes BIG time.

For example -- I own a lot of Globalstar bonds (and, I already booked a large loss on Globalstar common stock, before I swapped it into Globalstar bonds).

But -- I also will hold the G* debt to the "bitter end."

Most people appear to be "bailing" on their G* debt (at the current (roughly) 2 or 3 cents on the dollar level).

That does not make much sense to me, unless you are "up against the wall."

Once again -- I am willing to look at the G* situation on a medium run to long run basis.

Jon.
