Sandeep, the world has changed so has my President, look at this, who could have believed this in Pakistan, a swift move out for any general who was a hard liner..

<<This top level reshuffle at the GHQ means that Lt. Aziz Khan , Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Ahmad ud Ahmad , Lt. Gen. Muzzaffer Usmani -- who had served as the closest associates of General Musharraf , since he took power in a military coup that was staged by the same set of generals have now been asked to make way for a fresh team - and possibly for a new era of Pakistan's foreign and national security goals.

On October 12 1999, Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Ahmad than corps commander Rawalpindi had ordered his troops to take over the Prime Mninister;s house and the PTV and the general himself had went to arrest former prime minister Nawaz Sharif .Lt. Gen. Aziz than the chief of general staff at the GHQ had served as an anchor and had prevented Nawaz Sharif's hand picked team to take control of the GHQ. In Karachi Gen. Usmani had secured the safe landing of Gen. Musharraf's plane by defying orders from the former prime minister and his chosen COAS.>>

I see a peaceful solution and I also see a great future for India and Pakistan to co-exist, he is now throwing his baggage away, and I hope as you know that I condemned Kargil too, this time we will see some real progress, our future and our fate is tied together and we need to address this without any terrorism, don’t forget these bunch of mullahs has taken my nation as hostage too, this is the first time we are or say he is able to call the bluff.

I hope real strategists in India would understand that, a Pakistan that is part of civilised world community is India's best asset and bet, a fragmented Pakistan that is very possible if terrorist take it over like Talibanised minority and force their will on majority I see a big problem on hand, I see in this a silver lining in the dark clouds the myth of talibanisation of Pakistan is being broken, I assure you that for long term it is best for India, the last thing India wants it to see 130 million fanatics on its northern borders.

The present showdown will hopefully resolve a lot of questions but in a manner that no innocent lives may further be lost. I appreciate your understanding, it is nice to see on this thread that we can agree on most of the things and resolve to do things far better, our collective love and wisdom for each other will conquer the elements of hate propelled by these fanatics, humanity sounds to be the biggest winners. We all should say never gain, although I do realise and appreciate that my country due to its nature of ideological baggage and natural streak as all Muslims have that they are the righteous amongst all wrong have made far more serious mistakes, I hope that this is or may be the new beginning for both our countries.
