The most likely candidate is a tactical micro-nuke called the B61-11, an earth-penetrating nuclear device known as the "bunker buster."

The B61-11 was designed to destroy underground military facilities such as command bunkers, ballistic missile silos and facilities for producing and storing weapons.

However, it could be used against the warren of tunnels and caves carved under the Afghan mountains that are often cited as a potential refuge for the U.S. government's prime suspect, Osama bin Laden.

<< At least two civilians were killed and a dozen wounded. ... Authorities also banned any television news coverage of pro-Bin Laden demonstrations.
>>

Arafat's Palistinian Organization is now shooting their own unarmed, youthful demonstrators. I guess the killing of children, whether Israel or Palistianian, is acceptable to Arafat, as long as he can reach his political goals.

Hmmm!? Perhaps Arafat is trying to hide the fact that his terrorist organization supported the attack against New York.

<< Palestinian Police said when demonstrators staged an illegal demonstration outside the Islamic University, officers moved in with teargas and live ammunition. >>

Is this a hint of what a Palestinian Terrorist "State" would be like?

Curious that no Arab countries (besides Irak) know where they stand... and what to say.

May be they should be told by Powell, instead of the Arab League ?

perhaps there will be civil wars, guerrilla wars, etc. in muslim countries- with outside powers backing different groups-similar to what happened in the cold war. unfortunately, u.s., again will often back bad guys (including those currently in power)it considers malleable. the fundamentalists, will not necessarily be true believers, just as the communists weren't.

The atrocity! The abusive police state of the PA! The horrendous use of excessive force! Oh the Humanity, I gnash my teeth!

LOL!! Palestinian violence turned against the police of the very organization that DEFINED Palestinian resistance for decades! I LOVE the irony!
