Arab residents of Israel are voting citizens of Israel with the same rights and responsibilities as other Israelies. Although there are Arab parties, they vote overwhelmingly for Labor. On the other hand, they are discriminates against and receive a far lower level of municipal services in their villages. Paul

Sure... And they have Arab representatives in the Knesset. That's not to say that they receive all the same perquisites as an Israeli Jew receives, but that's because there are more Jews than Arabs and legislation ALMOST always favors the majority of the population. But I wonder how many Jews are allowed to vote for Palestinian or Arab leaders??... :0) Hawk

Anyone else getting the feeling that vital information is being with-held in order not to rile the populace?
