Warp, that's an ever present problem for me: >reading the incredible bearishness on this board< and not just on this board. Sometimes I think I should just stare at charts instead.

I've been as bearish as any on the technicals for months. I have been buying the breakouts but being selectively stepping into stocks that are not "overbought" by oscillator measurements. It means I've missed some of the moves but I also think it gives me better risk control.

The area best meeting that criterion for me has been semis. The sector is beaten to death, and is historically the first to return. All those factors give some comfort.

Bonds are now overpriced and managers will be disgorging them in a controlled fashion and moving toward equities caustiously.
