Did Britain send troops for the Gulf War or supply military support?

They sent quite a few. Not as many as the US, but we are a much bigger country. No other country besides the US sent more.

We helped them in the Falklands (we didn't fight but provide satelite recon and I believe logistical support)

They helped out in Korea

and of course we were on the same side in WWI and WWII, and in the cold war we were (and still are) NATO partners and cooperated a lot on with intelligence and counterintelligence.
