I still feel Ruth and Gehrig would be dropped in spring training by any current team, mostly just as a matter of physical conditioning, strength, reflexes, and body development which are so much more advanced now.

Get a young Ruth or Gehrig and put him through modern drills and conditioning exercises...

Not that even a well conditioned Ruth would have the same impact now then he did then (He didn't just lead the League in HRs he got more then any team besides his own). But can you imagine if he did. You might have him pitch every 5th game too. He could be a staff ace or atleast a top number 2 pitcher and compete for the home run crown... How much $ do you think someone like that could get today?
