Milan, Good point. But I disagree slightly A slight twist on this - the root cause is the loss of hope to address any "envious" feelings. The "envious" feelings are inevitable, given the way human nature is, but they are irrational. People lose perspective that they may not be as well off as another guy, but this is all relative to someone else, not absolutely. In absolute terms, the tide of time is lifting all the boats, and most people have higher material standard of living than their parents, grandparents etc. Joe
