No doubt about that. How often does it seem as if No. 1 picks fail? Lots! I know the Packers have done great in rounds 3-7 but their first rounders have SUCKED. I think that says a lot because Ron Wolf was a very good judge of talent.

That was precisely why I had raised the issue yesterday. Who knows how many darn good players never make it to the big leagues because these talent scouts have a myopic vision.
