I think Zingers are a snack cake...... As well as the name of missile stimulation program. I thought the missile may haven't gotten its name from the program. __________________________________________________________ iac.dtic.mil ESAMS-Enhanced Surface to Air Missle Stimulation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ESAMS is an enhanced version of the Surface-to-Air Missile Simulation (SAMS) which grew from the family of computer programs called TAC ZINGER. It is a digital computer program that models the interaction between a single airborne target and a SAM air defense system. ESAMS is patterned after the TAC ZINGER model in algorithm content and basic simulation flow and provides a one-on-one framework in which to evaluate air vehicle survivability and tactics optimization.
