something constructive that Israel may do that create peace in the region
how about ending the occupation, stopping using euphemism "natural growth" and stopping the invasion which is still going on as we speak, stopping settlers killing palestinians, stopping the overwhelming war machine and recognizing the palestinian state?
constructive enough for you?

Albert,

There is enough blame to go around.

A few questions and answers:

Q. Did the UN have the right to displace Palestinians from their homeland with the creation of Israel in 1948?
A. NO

Q. Now that Israel does exist, does it have the right to protect itself against those that have vowed its destruction?
A. YES

Q. Does Israel have the right to continue to encroach on Palestinian land while denying it an attonomous self-governed state?
A. NO

Q. Should Palestine and Palestinian terrorist groups seek to undo the past though violence?
A. NO

The past is the past. We can make amends, but we can not reverse the past. Since America is not going anywhere in the foreseeable future, so not is Israel. So, what amends can be made to move forward with a peace acceptable to both sides?

Pravin.
