In the middle of all this, sunspots are acting up. Driving back from the cabin yesterday, the station playing the football game lost the feed for awhile. Blamed it on sunspot activity.

Then today, the public radio station I was listening to warned listeners to expect the signal to go out occasionally due to sunspots.

Makes you wonder how this affects military communications.

I'm afraid that has been the fate of most small sawmills. It is a business amenable only to big corporations now. The little guy has gone under.
the scenery was great. Not sure what happened to it, but the mill is no longer there.
