Leland, Customers have the option of directly preferencing the primary listed exchanges or joining the ARCA listed book. In order to preference one of the primary exchanges the route must be set on ARCA and the preference box must be checked and designated either NYS or ASE. Marketable orders preferenced to a primary exchange will first scan the ARCA listed book before being routed to the NYSE or AMEX. When routing to an exchange the order will be sent via DOT for NYSE and via PER for AMEX securities. David
