Michael L. Collins, Cantor Fitzgerald's ESpeed New York, Oct. 8 (Bloomberg) - Michael L. Collins, 38, manager in Cantor Fitzgerald LP's ESpeed unit. Collins was a 15-year veteran of Cantor Fitzgerald. Previous to his position with the firm's E*Speed electronic trading unit, he was a vice president in Cantor's U.S. Treasury bond brokerage. Collins was born in Sleepy Hollow, New York, and graduated from nearby Irvington High School in 1980. He received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York in Oswego in 1984. Surviving are Collins's wife; his parents; his parents-in-law; his brother and sister-in-law, and their two children; his sister and brother-in-law; and their three children, of New York. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 6. Donations were requested to be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
