It's hard to be totally anything. I wouldn't expect that most vile Robber Baron would think of letting his dog starve. But, in his cocoon of privilege, might think that the unwashed rabble at his door is unwashed by choice. People can have the strangest dichotomies in their lives and philosophies and not be the slightest bit disturbed by them. Humans really have a knack for this.
