UAE = Abu Dhabi + Dubai + Sharjah + Ajman + Ras Al Khaimah + Al Ain + Umm Al Quwwain

7 Emirates, in descending order of importance and size. Al Ain is a part of Abu Dhabi (ergo "owned" by the ruler of Abu Dhabi), but since it is geographically separated from Abu Dhabi, it has been given the status of a separate Emirate.

An honest mistake I must apologize for my two recent secretaries who are now fired... ;-). It just goes to show we know more about the Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament than that nation, and we should. I for one would hope that someday soon I could travel to these nations and share in their culture, but first, I would like to celebrate Lebanon. Growing up in Washington, even more than the Europeans I came to know - and my family is from Amsterdam originally - the people I cherished most were (and are) the Lebanese I met, a tolerant, cultured and charming people.
