I don't know if Dave is an expert on mining in Australia, but he did not have much respect for investing in gold located in New Guinea.

I have an August write up from Merrill Lynch on all the companies that you mentioned. If you send me an email at graffius@winternet.com I can send you the PDF file.

I may be stupid, but I have invested in the SA miners. My reasons for this is that they have the large reserves and when I buy resource stocks I like to buy the big ones. I look at investing in metals/oil as I am buying what they own in the ground and I like to buy it at a discount. <g>
