You may have lived abroad, but you don't seem to have gotten much out of it.
You remind me of the folks on the cruise ships who never get off the boat.
Heck, that's just my perception. But xenophobes can travel, you know. They just take their anger and prejudice with them. Don't know if that fits you, but it certainly fits your posts.

I am an American. I am part American Indian. I was born in California and my lineage is part Choctaw and part English- going back to the first census of the United States. I have been an agnostic all my life. I do not believe anyone has the right to make me or my children feel marginalized for not praying or singing to a God we find ridiculous in public places where we are compelled to be present. The DMV does not have the right to make me swear to God that I am who I say I am. No teacher has the right to force my children to pray or sing to a God they do not believe in. Enough is Enough. Enough shoving religion down the throats of those who do not want it. Talk about freedom! How can you be free when someone in government can force you to be present for religious proceedings you do not approve of? There is no danger of religions dying out. The greatest danger is of intolerance toward people who are not religious. Every city in this country has many churches, and churches get billions tax free, I see no reason why the machinery of government should grind up people who do not believe. Let people be grist in their own churches, and leave those of us who do not want to be ground up exceedingly fine, alone.

Not anymore. DAR pack your bags.

If you are in California and you hate world culture, get ready for hell! If you love world culture, get ready for heaven. But they are the same place and you chose which it is.

You better accept that your percentage of the population worldwide is shrinking and that more and more likely your genes will be outbred into other races. Your little almond-eyed, brown-skinned great--great-grand kiddies will marvel at you like I do at my great-great-grandmother on my dad's side who was black. That was quite the little embarrassment in years past, especially for a family in Louisiana.
