UKRAINE IN DENIAL

Classic accident investigation going on here.

kpnews.com

Tkachyov gave no reason for the discrepancy and emphasised that the plane had crashed much further than 80 km offshore.

Tkachyov first has to admit how the problem could have happened with the missiles, then looked for possible reasons how. All possible (even remote) reasons how and why. That is how progress is made.

For all I know, the problem could indeed be a sneaky terrorist attack.

But that is how investigations should proceed.

The news article finishes with...

The incident threatens to damage relations between Ukraine and its former imperial master Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin was quoted as saying on Saturday that he was unhappy with the information Ukraine had provided to date.

Uh Oh. Lets hope that one gets sorted out <nfg>
