VentureQuest Files Amendment No. 4 to Form 10 SB Registration Statement with
the SEC

Business Editors

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 10, 2001--
VentureQuest Group, Inc., (the "Company"), a Nevada corporation
trading on the "Pink Sheets" as VQGI, announced today that it has
filed the Fourth Amendment to its Form 10 SB registration statement
with the Securities and Exchange Commission in its bid to become a
fully reporting company.
Being a fully reporting company to the SEC is a requirement for
listing on the NASDAQ OTC pursuant to the OTC Bulletin Board
Eligibility Rule adopted in 1999 for all OTC companies.
"These amendments attempt to incorporate all of the revisions
required to satisfy the comments received by the SEC's examiners in
our previous filings, in addition to outlining the Company's
developments since its last filing in May 2001." stated Eric
Hutchingame Chairman and CEO of VentureQuest. "Hopefully, these
clarifications will go a long way toward bringing this filing
requirement to a successful conclusion with the Company then eligible
for restatement to the OTC Bulletin Board," he added.
The Form 10 SB submission was formally filed on October 10, 2001.
The amended documents will be filed in accordance with the SEC's EDGAR
system and may be viewed at the SEC's website at
sec.gov
"In connection with this filing, the Company will file amendments
to its Form 10K-SB for the period ended December 31, 2000 and to its
Form 10Q-SB for the periods ended March 31 and June 30, 2001. These
amended documents, along with their corresponding restated financial
statements, will include modifications suggested by the SEC pursuant
to the Company's reverse merger with Gamecasters, Inc. and its recent
sale of its E-Casinos International subsidiary and the subsequent
discontinuance of its online gaming business" stated William Baker,
the Company's President and Chief Financial Officer. "We believe that
the modifications and disclosures provided in amendment #4 to our Form
10-SB will more fully present the circumstances and conditions
regarding the recent events of the Company to the satisfaction of SEC
examiners" he added.
VentureQuest is in the business of acquiring and consolidating
emerging or underachieving companies or opportunities that provide
recurring revenue.
