16:08 British Foreign Under-Secretary: bin Laden`s organization has chemical, biological weapons

Does this rock anyone's boat?

It is reports such as these that cause me sleepless nights as our financial way of life of the 90's begins to resemble the roaring 20's.

Is Civil War inevitablly ahead for Arafat?

Without taking sides can the thread make reasonable assumptions if they Palestinians turn their guns on eachother?

Sounds theoretically possible, but only if Israel doesn't p*ss off all factions at the same time :-)

Is Civil War inevitablly ahead for Arafat? Has his terrorist infrastructure the foreshadow os his own undoing?

Usually, nationalist movements don't have civil wars until they've defeated whomever they're winning independence from. So you wouldn't expect it until Israel withdraws. But Arafat is very weak and corrupt, and has always run from confronting his extremists. So I don't know whether Hamas will simmer down for the common good, or decide it's a good time for a takeover.
