yeah, but they won't report it. prices will go up 10% but they'll report 3% inflation. but, you already knew this...

I have to agree with you! Inflation is much more of a risk rather than recession. btw: did you know that a lot of foreigners hoard US dollars instead of keeping their wealth in their local currencies. Eastern Europe and mid east(atleast Lebanon/Turkey). Even the Chinese with a stable/convertible RMB seem to want to keep USD's("meijin" or American Gold). I imagine a lot of the USDs printed end's up under someone's mattress in Tirana or Chengdu...
