Well, that hedge therefore falls into the "coulda shoulda" category, I was hoping someone went on it (it was a very low risk bet at the time, as I explained), I don't play the futures either, so, of course, I did not do that hedge. As for gold, we'll have to wait for the dollar to really hurt, and I think that will not happen until later next year, once our balance of payments breaches $40 B/month. Early in the year, I expect strength in the dollar, not weakness.
