rich one,one could make a strong argument it was Unpatriotic for sell-side analysts to pump the bubble up shamelessly and then to bail out---not only was that unpatriotic,it was criminal.
A lot of americans have been severely damaged financially by the pump pump "Be Bullish America" Merrill type crap that went on.
I find it interesting that "American Spirit" evidently got banned from SI Member 7442166 for wrapping the flag around himself and going on a posting binge to save his own butt.(one need only wade through all his last posts to see he was on smear campaign for selfish reasons)
i figure he either got banned,or was given an SI vacation of some duration---

I guess CRAP is in the eye of the beholder... There's a lot of CRAP being posted on this thread as of late!... Of course Moron Johnson is the king of CRAP... You guys need to "get over it" with this patriotic/unpatriotic CRAP regarding stocks... Patriotism is one thing, COMMON SENSE regarding valuations and trading is another... IMO we are still in a bear market although we are no doubt closer to the bottom... I still just can't see WHAT patriotism has to do with the price of a stock, except that it was another ploy dished out to the retail public while the "money changers" dumped.

Rich, where did this come from, I cannot find this as the header.
"<Here is a thread to discuss margin requirements. It is the aim of this thread that after sufficiently repeating the same facts to dumb people who can't read, they will eventually understand basic investing concepts, thereby making a patriotic effort to help the US economy by removing ignorance from the market place, and steer stocks towards "fair values".> ",

if this is indeed the new "Header", it is crass and I'll be quite pissed off and take my mumblings elsewhere.
