Why would Q want to get back in the infrastructure business? Low margins and a conflict of interest are just some of the reasons they sold its business off to ERICY.

IMHO, Rich Sulpizio would be the perfect CEO for LU.

Now a good gorilla disciple like yourself would not want to fire that value chain. They would like to keep them griping and dependent on your technology. Better to buy out the discontinous innovations that seem to be a non-threat, a la Christensen.
