Sheep shearing comb sticks in man's brain

A sheep shearer is in hospital after his shearing comb snapped and embedded itself in his brain.

He was working at a farm near Parkes in New South Wales, Australia.

The man was flown to Nepean Hospital in Sydney where he is stable.

The 30-year-old remained conscious during the flight although he was sedated and given pain relief.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports the man is expected to undergo neurosurgery.
