From my vantage point, it appears the USA took great pains to form a coalition with its allies before taking any action. I have been impressed with the deliberation and restraint that have gone into our responses thus far. The terrorists may have unwittingly made the USA stronger in the world arena by providing a common purpose between us and the other powerful nations. They may have cause to regret that. I'm going back to lurk mode, Lola, and apologize to the thread for this intrusion. But first let me suggest that you liberally sprinkle "imho"s (or in that's too difficult "imo"s) throughout your posts, because your conclusions appear to be speculative, colored by a negative bias towards the USA, and unsupported by fact. jmho, uf
